Description
Viking Invasion
For *Auraleyki's use ONLY!
Personal Thoughts
This is a gift I made for *Auraleyki (I just love the name!) because of her generous donation! Hope you like it!
This was my second attempt at this. Auraleyki asked for a darker background, with mountains and Vikings and swords and axes and other stuff, but it didn't work out for me. So I redid it.
But other than that, this second one I did was a lot of fun! The only not-so-fun things was trying to find the right stock. The one from ~DayDreamerStock was the only horse stock whose pose my inner critic was satisfied with (even though the lighting was way off). But altogether, this wasn't too much of a strain on my nerves.
About the Work
With this manip, I got a lot of practice on the things I needed work on. Namely, background photomanipulating and the overall merging of different stocks, and how to make them look not so out-of-place/glaringly popped-out of the picture.
(If any of you guys can even understand my weirdo jabberin' 'n blabberin' thingamabob, you're a genius. xD)

I love the 3D affect you have here! Your manips are always sooooo unique and you really make them your own!
I love the ship in the background, for starters, and I like how the sand kind of fades out, but I think it's a little odd that you have the sand blurring into the distance but then everything beyond it is clear too, you know? just something to think about
I like the little boat you included on the shore and the way the horse is in refuge in the little cave/cove there! The allover theme is well brought out and I especially like the birds in the sky and the stormy-quality you brought to the sky.
Amazing job, as always!
