Time taken: 5 hours

Do NOT steal!

A small but intensive manip I squeezed in between some art requests. Only used fifteen-some layers, but so far, I'm pretty satisfied with it. ^-^
Also, this is the first picture in my Pegasus manipulation series, The Final Flight Trilogy [link].

It has been featured here: [link]

Criticism is appreciated. Rudeness is not.

You've created a lovely magical scene and I like your choice of colors. :) I would, however, make the moon a light blue like the waves or, perhaps better, have some pale yellow light reflecting off the water.

Good choice for the waves and clouds, although the very dark cloud doesn't feel right to me. It is the only large area of darkness in the scene and is set against the brightest, which draws extra attention to the sky. This might be fixed by broadening the value range of the Pegasus and the sea (try adjusting the levels and/or curves).

The Pegasus is lovely and the wing on the left side (Pegasus's right) looks well attached. The position of the other wing, however, does not work with it. I recommend that you look at bird photos for reference. In flight, the wing positions should be relatively symmetrical; you would not have one forward and the other back as you do here. Instead, you should probably see the back and front edge of this wing. Here are some references that may help show you what I mean: [link] [link]

I hope this was of some help! Keep up the lovely work!

I really like this!!! :D All the elements of this picture really tie in with one another, creating something really amazing!

The horse is a little fake looking... the wings are outlined very well with the light from the moon but the tail looks too straight... I like the stars that you added to the horse to give it that magical feel, and I like the fact that it's walking on water!

I especially like the water and the clouds in the background, though in the sky there's that big black streak across (basically where there are no clouds?) and it's a little distracting to the subject. I really like how you had the water underneath the hooves, though, like it was splashing up :D

Overall, AMAZING job, as always ;)

I have a realtive lack of skill, but, theshadow on the waves looks off somehow, as does the left wing.
