Personal Thoughts
This was a miracle in itself! I just joined #ManipulateThis and had only a few days to concoct a manip up. Thankfully, the required stock was a horse, which was something right up my alley! ^-^
I had a hard time deciding what scene to put this horse in. But, due to the lack of time, I did a simple background of the beach against a sunset sky. Ah, good summer memories... and yes, I love simplicity, as you probably have guessed. xD

About the Work
I'm very satisfied with the overall manipulation of this piece. This must be my best multi-background work yet! The lighting, for once, obeyed me. And the mane and tail turned out pretty nicely.
EDIT ::
I moved the sun over a bit to the left, to make the horse's shadow more reasonable (since it's easier to move that than tweak the wings, which I had a lot of trouble on).
I think I did a pretty good job cleaning the footprints on the sand...and painting hoofprints. My first try, too!
Also, I cleaned up the space where the sky and ocean met, and also added a slight reflection of the sky to the water.

We've all seen it before: its the cliche horse running in the sand. But you really did make this beautiful and I can't complain that it's just a flump <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x…" width="15" height="15" alt="

I really do admire the shadows you do (I don't really know how this whole photomanip thing works, again, but I think it's really amazing!!!) the waves are at just the right place, and I like the touch of the birds and mountains in the back (so it's not just the empty horizon).

The hoofprints could have been done a little better, and I think making the horse brighter would have contributed to the picture <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="
