Personal Thoughts So with this one, it's about me dreading next year. Okay, maybe you don't call state CM test and level placement tests scary, but for me, it's always stressful. Here, the horse is, like me, trying to run away from the real world, to escape reality. But in the end, it is something you cannot avoid, no matter how hard you try. The best thing to do is to just cowgirl up and face it. That's what I'm struggling with. This is also hinting on the times when I feel lost and uncertain what to do next...when rocky struggles and trouble are brewing up on every side...
Shades of brown Rain it down Let it run Catch the sun Kill the frost Turn the dross Till your earth Is new birth (Just a random ditto by me ^-^)
On the Work This time, I focused more on the background than on the horse. But AHHH! Since this is my FIRST attempt of using multiple, raw background pictures, (three, to be exact) do I have some serious improvement to do! Any tips or suggestions on how to “digitize” or “smooth out” backgrounds?
Well, at least this didn't turn out too bad. And I'm so glad that the horse stock fitted so nicely into the background. ^-^ The mane and tail are okay, but I had A LOT of fun painting them! xD
Wow. What can I say other than AMAZING JOB!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not very familiar with manips... I'll be completely honest! But this is really stunning!
I think my favorite part has to be the shadow of the horse (and the mountains too). It really comes alive with that, even though the horse still looks a little 3D. The details are very nice and I can't believe you spent 5 hours on this!! It would have taken me twice as long
Anyway, the quote adds a whole new dimension to it that a love, and I especially like new, self-quotes great job!!!
